"A new D.J. supergroup made up of the genre-bending artists and musicians ... Future Brown’s performance marked another step — or bounce — in the consolidation of a new kind of performance art." – New York Times T Magazine. Future Brown is the new project from longtime friends Fatima Al Qadiri, Asma Maroof & Daniel Pineda of Nguzunguzu and J-Cush of Lit City Trax. Taking their name from a color

that doesn’t exist in nature, Future Brown is steeped in diasporic sounds, forming into signature takes on urban music.Working in union on every studio production, their mutual love of global beats and vocalist-driven music is a fabric that draws together their myriad influences. Their initial "Wanna Party" featured rising Chicago MC Tink perked ears leading them to a PS1 x Pitchfork performance at the MoMA gallery.

From their Grime ties in the UK, Future Brown hit up friends Prince Rapid, Dirty Danger of Ruff Sqwad and Roachee (formerly of Roll Deep) to feature on "World's Mine," the first of two tracks with the MCs. Future Brown is currently finishing their debut LP with original vocal collaborations, including Tink, Shawnna, 3D Na'tee, Maluca, Riko Dan, Ian Isiah and Kelela, with more to be announced.
